Bàku Lodge is nestled among the lush rainforest of eastern Colombia near the Venezuelan border, in a land our indigenous hosts have inhabited for millennia. Here, through our partnership with the Bachaco tribe, we offer our guests the exclusive opportunity to fish 15 linear miles of of the Bòcon tributary of the Inirida River, a stretch that comprises numerous pristine lagoons where monster peacock bass lurk.
Here, you won’t sleep on hard cots in tents; rather, you’ll enjoy the secure privacy of fully constructed rooms with cooling fans and full-size beds.
Our lodge includes a stocked bar, tackle shop, WiFi and a spacious dining area.
Jungle fishing is physically demanding, so food is an essential element of our program. Bàku Lodge’s chef has a flair for serving up hearty cuisine featuring local favorites and some Colombian twists on dishes from steak to pasta bolognese.
Bàku Lodge stands as one of Colombia's premier fishing accommodations, offering a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Our lodge provides a unique opportunity to experience the raw beauty of the Amazon while enjoying modern conveniences.
Unlike traditional camping experiences, Bàku Lodge features fully constructed rooms, complete with modern amenities. Each space is designed to provide a comfortable retreat after exciting days spent pursuing the region's legendary peacock bass.
